Rock Styl: Black Metal • Enthroned was formed in Belgium around 1993 by Sabathan (vocals) and Cernunnos (drums) after leaving their previous bands Morbid Death and Blaspherion. They were soon joined by Tseboath (guitar) of Death Metal band Slanesh. The band released a 5-track promo tape in 1994 which gained them the interest from various labels. A 7" split EP, "Scared By Darkwinds", was then released with Ancient Rites on After Dark Records. After Dark Records ceased to exist so Enthroned had to opt for Evil Omen Records (a small sub-division of Osmose Productions) to release their first full-length debut album, "Prophecies Of Pagan Fire", in 1995. After the release, Nornagest (guitar) of Heresia, was recruited and Tseboath was replaced by another guitarist named Nebiros.
