Po velkém úspěchu u vydaného DVD Live In London (2009), které zachycuje jeden z největších koncertů zpěvákova světového koncertního turné, přichází Leonard Cohen s exkluzívním "doplněním" živých koncertních záznamů z posledních let jeho kariéry.
Na albu Songs From The Road najdeme totiž živá vystoupení z koncertních hal, festivalů, arén a stadiónů od Tel Avivu až po Londýn, skrz celou Evropu, do kalifornské pouště až do jeho rodné Kanady. To vše natočeno v letech 2008 až 2009 ve vysokém HD rozlišení a s 5.1 surround soundem !!!
Album vychází na samostatném CD, DVD, Blu-Ray nosiči a v limitované edici také v dárkovém balení CD+DVD. Na nosičích DVD a Blu-Ray najdeme jako bonus 20 minutový rozhovor se členy kapely ze zákulisí, který režírovala Cohenova dcera Lorca.
